How the pilot works
Three stages, in order. Size and uniformity come first, then color, then we tune both to your standards.
Size & uniformity MVP
Every piece of your product is measured individually.
2 weeks
Color MVP
Color ramp-up: objective color scoring on each piece.
Piloting on potato products? You can skip this stage. Color on potatoes is where IntelliScience already sets the industry standard.
1 month
Meet your standards
We tune size, uniformity and color to the standards you provide.
2–4 weeks
Worst case
8–10 weeks
That’s the worst case — we pride ourselves on how quickly we train new models.
Given a good sample of about 100–500 images, it can move faster. The clock starts once we have representative samples of your product and your spec.
On potato products color is already established, so the pilot is stages 1 and 3: 4–6 weeks at worst.
